Blackman: All rise, the court is now in session!
Blackman: The case on the docket today is the trial to change Chris's name back.
Blackman: Mr. Griffin, you may proceed.
Peter: Thank you, Your Honor. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I stand before you today to fight for justice!
Peter: My name is Peter Griffin and my son's name is Chris Griffin.
Peter: But his name was changed against his will!
Bruce: Objection, Your Honor! The witness is not stating the facts.
Blackman: Objection overruled. Let the witness continue.
Peter: Thank you, Your Honor. As I was saying, Chris's name was changed without his consent.
Chris: My name is Kris Grissle.
Peter: See? He can't even say his own name!
Bruce: Objection, Your Honor! The witness is being coached.
Blackman: Objection sustained. Mr. Griffin, please allow the witness to speak for himself.
Peter: Fine. Chris, tell the court what your name is.
Chris: My name is Kris Grissle.
Peter: Damn it, Chris! I raised you better than this!
Bruce: Your Honor, the evidence is clear. Chris wants to be called Kris.
Blackman: Mr. Griffin, do you have any evidence to support your case?
Peter: Yes, Your Honor. I have Exhibit A, a birth certificate that clearly states his name is Chris.
Blackman: Very well. Exhibit A is admitted as evidence.
Bruce: OBJECTION! The birth certificate is outdated.
Blackman: Objection overruled. On what grounds do you say the birth certificate is outdated?
